A one hour docent-guided tour through some of the Milwaukee Art Museum highlights – including the unique exhibit of cliché-verre prints: “Corot, Daubigny, Millet: Visions of France” (coordinated with the Cliché-verre workshop above).

Cyanotype: Books on the Beach II
August 13, 2016

All ages were invited to participate (individually or as a family/group) in making a miniature book of found objects on the beach just north of the Veteran's Memorial Park in Port Washington. The objects were printed and exposed in the sun.

Handcolored Photographs
May 21, 2016

Vicki Reed lead a workshop on handcoloring traditional black and white photographs, merging painting with photography. Participants used the techniques demonstrated to paint their own black and white photographs. This event was part of our Wisconsin Humanities Council Grant.

Mirrors & Leaves: Daguerreotypes & Chlorophyll Prints

We were honored to welcome Binh Danh, artist and creator of the chlorophyll photo process. Binh Danh presented his work in analog photography at Gallery 224 in the very informative presentation. This event was part of our Wisconsin Humanities Council Grant.

Port Photo Walk
April 24, 2016

Port Photo Walk 2016 invited photographers to Port Washington, WI for one day to share their love of photography and celebrate Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. Participants explored the many great aspects of the city including Port's unique personality, distinctive features of the waterfront landscape, varied architecture and rich history. This event was part of our Wisconsin Humanities Council Grant.

Pinhole Photography Workshop

This event included an introductory lecture and discussion on the history and principles of pinhole photography followed by a workshop, where participants constructed their own cameras which they used to explore downtown Port Washington. This event was part of our Wisconsin Humanities Council Grant.
