Lake Effect with Nicole Shaver
December 9, 2017

Nicole Shaver, printmaker and sculptor from Port Washington, took part in several events with this show. She presented a "Pass it Around" event, where she discussed why humans are attracted to shiny things, the process of hot-pressed foil and how to feel good about making art with recycled materials. She also shared several art projects during the "Love Your Great Lakes Day" in Port Washington.

PORT PHOTO WALK 2017 Photography Show

Despite inclement weather, local photographers came together in celebration of Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day, showing a spirit of camaraderie, their love for photography and also a love for the city of Port Washington, Wisconsin. Photography enthusiasts explored the many great aspects of the city and its unique personality, great setting and distinctive features of its waterfront landscape.

Framing Saukville
March 31 thru June 3, 2017

A unique opportunity to celebrate the history of Saukville, Wisconsin through the Oscar Grady Public Library's photographs from the Jim and John Peterson Collection. This collection offered a unique look into different aspects of life in a town with its own identity and dreams showcasing local businesses and historic buildings, its social life, as well as the fires and floods that are part of Saukville’s history.

Body of Light: Photographic Explorations by Barbara Jean McHugh

The photographs in this exhibit were originally created by the artist some thirty years ago. Using light as a paint brush and the human form as canvas she literally shaped her personal vision in such a way as to awaken intimate feelings in the viewer.
