Exploring Pinhole Photography

This workshop is open to both those with experience in pinhole photography and those with no prior experience at all. Participants will be guided through the process of building their own camera from a simple cookie tin. If you already have a pinhole camera you are welcome to bring it to the workshop and share your knowledge and experience with other enthusiasts.

Participants will use their cameras to explore the immediate vicinity of Studio 224 in downtown Port Washington and the Studio 224 darkroom will be available for developing and printing black & white paper negatives.

Materials for the construction of pinhole cameras will be provided along with assistance in the darkroom to develop and print photographs. Prior experience in photography or in darkroom printing is not required.

We will be meeting at Studio 224, located in the lower level of the newly restored Boerner Mercantile Building in downtown Port Washington. (211 N. Franklin Avenue, Port Washington).
