October Events at Gallery 224 and Studio 224

Saturday, October 7, 9:00-3:00, Port Washington Plein Air Paint Out. At 4:00 there will be a pop up exhibition and reception for the public at 115 N. Franklin Street, Port Washington.

Wednesday, October 11, 6:30-9:00, Photo Book Conversation at Studio 224. Show up with a favorite photo book or two, or just come for the conversation.

Friday, October 20, 6:00, PORTfolio film, An Art that Nature Makes at the Niederkorn Library. This movie features the photographer Rosamond Purcell, her fascination with the natural world, and offers insight into her unique way of re-contextualizing objects both ordinary and strange into sometimes disturbing but always breathtaking imagery.

From the Studio, featuring the work of the current artists in residence at Studio 224 through November 18 at Gallery 224.
