Saturday, November 4, 10:00-12:00, Martin Morante will be at Gallery 224 for informal conversation about his pinhole cameras currently on display, and residency and workshop opportunities at Studio 224.

Sunday, November 5, 6:00-7:00, A Welcome Mat for the Estranged, an evening of poetry at Gallery 224. Local poets Chris Austin, Oody Petty, and Karl Pradel will read selections from their work.

Wednesday, November 8, 6:30-9:00, Photo Book Conversation at Studio 224.  Show up with a favorite photo book or two, or just for the conversation.

Friday, November 17, 6:00, PORTfolio film, John James Audubon: Drawn from Nature at the Niederkorn Library. John James Audubon is best known for The Birds of America, a book of 435 images, portraits of every bird then known in the United States – painted and reproduced in the size of life. Its creation cost Audubon eighteen years of monumental effort in finding the birds, making the book, and selling it to subscribers.

Saturday, November 18, 10:00-2:00, is the last day to view the exhibition From the Studio, at Gallery 224. This exhibition features the work of the current artists in residence at Studio 224.
