Gallery 224

August Events at Gallery 224 and the Gallery 224 Studios

Saturday, August 6, from 1:00-3:00, featured artist Lois Bielefeld will staff the gallery, and on Saturday August 13, from 11:00-1:00, featured artist Kevin Miyazaki will staff the gallery.  This is your chance to stop by, say “Hi” and visit with them about their work.

Saturday August 27, from 10:00-11:00, we will be hosting an Artists Talk at the gallery. This is an opportunity to hear the stories behind the photographs in an informal setting, and to learn more about Gary Porter’s Pulitzer Prize winning career as a photojournalist for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Kevin Miyazaki’s Perimeter project.

Saturday, August 13, from 1:00-3:00, artist in residence Carissa Heinrichs will offer a Cyanotype Workshop. All ages are welcome. Participants will be making miniature books of objects they find at the beach. More information on our Gallery 224 Studios/Workshops tab.
